Description

• This warming essential oil may be used to support circulation and aid pain management.*
• Sweet Birch is often added to linements and muscle rubs due to its high content of methyl salicylate which the FDA has approved in certain products to reduce mild to moderate pain associated with muscle strain.*
• May soothe joints, tendons, sprains, arthritis and rheumatism.*
• Often used in skin care products as a skin softener and for aiding the appearance of dandruff.*
  
• Adirondack Birch essential oil is distilled by first allowing the bark to macerate in warm water for 10-12 hours. The distillation is quite difficult, not only because of low yields, but this essential oil is heavier than water and must be collected from the bottom of the collection container instead of the top.

Suggested Use

• Blend 2-3 drops into 1 tablespoon of Almond Oil. Massage this blend into the neck and shoulder muscles before bed for a relaxed awakening.*
• For your next massage, premix a blend of Sweet Birch, Lavender and Ylang Ylang essential oil with Fractionated Coconut Oil for a deeply soothing and comforting massage.*
• Mix 10 drops of Sweet Birch with 10 ml of Jojoba oil into a roll-on bottle. Roll onto those unsightly spiderweb-looking blue and red lines that show up with age on your legs.*
• Add 2-3 drops into your hand lotion. Rub your hands vigorously with this warming blend for cold hands and feet.*
• Combine 2-3 drops of Sweet Birch, 10 drops of Copaiba and 5 drops of Sweet Orange into 1 tablespoon of Jojoba Oil. Massage into painful joints.*
• In a 2 ounce spray bottle, add 15 drops of Sweet Birch essential oil and fill bottle with distilled water. Shake well before use, then spray around your body for a body mist for self-confidence and inner strength.* Avoid eyes and other sensitive areas.*
• Essential oils can be added to carrier oils, lotions, salves, soaps, massage oils, bath salts, or used in an aromatherapy diffuser.
