Both teas have fascinating histories and legends behind them.
The 24 Karat Gold Exclusive Luxury Black Tea was originally a tea of the Taipans and overlords. This unique tea is said to have been created by the golden monkey in the Fujian Province forests and was very rare as a result. At the time, they believed that the tea was special for its ability to give people increased sexual prowess and agility that rivaled the golden monkeys. While we can’t confirm that golden monkeys originally plucked the leaves for this tea, we think this incredible story makes the tea even more special!
The legend of the Pure Silver Exclusive Luxury Green Tea focuses on spiritual purity. It’s said that a farmer who lived high up in the hills was struggling to feed his family during a ferocious winter. As he and his family were nearing death, the farmer decided to hike to a shrine on the top of a nearby mountain to pray for help. Despite the freezing temperatures and snow, the farmer made it to the shrine three days later, where he found a stranded white crane. However, white cranes do not thrive in such high altitudes, and the crane was clearly suffering. The farmer felt empathy for the poor bird and carried the white crane back to his family’s home so that he could be helped. During the trek back home, the white crane spoke to the farmer and told him that because of his pure heart and actions, he would show the farmer where to find winter berries that would keep his family fed through the winter. Then the white crane showed the farmer how to craft a pure tea, which his family could sell so that they would be provided for the rest of their lives. Naturally, this pure tea was the Snow Yunnan green tea with silvery tips.
