Level 1 Introductory to Herbalism Will Provide:

  • Leilah
    • Leilah, founder of The Herb Stop, has worked as an herbalist since 1970. As a child she was diagnosed with a "terminal" illness. Her Grandmother, knowing the healing power of herbs, not only restored Leilah to full health, but inspired her to make this “helping of others through natural means” her life work. Leilah holds a diploma in Pharma-Assistance. In Switzerland she worked in an apothecary. In 2000, she joined her daughter Natalie to share her knowledge as an herbalist, healthcare professional, writer and teacher.
  • Natalie Hajdu-Voakes
    • Natalie has studied under Leilah for more than 20 years and has served the public as an herbalist for over 18 years. She has a double certification from Clayton College of Natural Health in Family & Consulting Herbalism, Family Herbalist Certification from the School of Natural Healing, as well as completing the American Botanical Council’s Herbal Information Specialist Courses I & II. She also has a certification in Spectro-Chrome Therapy, is a Reiki II Practitioner, Animal Psychology, Nutrition & Sports Nutrition, and is studying Iridology.


  • Class duration is 9 weeks - 3 hours per week
  • Classes will not be held on holidays such as Mother's Day, Father's Day, and Memorial Day
  • Classes are held in person at The Herb Stop location in Pine, AZ
  • Offered once a year
  • Class manual and reference are provided
  • Receive a Certificate of Completion upon passing the final test, completion of the entire 9 weeks and payment in full.

  • $300 - which includes a non-refundable $50 materials fee for the class manual and signed copy of Mastering The World of Herbs, written by Leilah - is due in full by the day class begins.
