Psyllium is composed primarily of mucilage, which absorbs water and forms a thick gel . This gel may help to soften stool and promote regularity.* It may also help to reduce cholesterol levels and stabilize blood sugar levels.* Mix 1 teaspoon of psyllium husk powder with 8 oz of water or juice and drink immediately. Its mild, slightly sweet taste makes it easy to incorporate it into meals. Make sure to drink psyllium with plenty of liquids.

To Use: Mix 1 tsp of psyllium with at least 8 oz (a full glass) of water or other fluid.
Safety Guideline: Taking this product without adequate fluid may cause it to swell and block your throat or esophagus and may cause choking. If you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking this product, seek immediate medical attention. Take with at least 8 ounces of liquid.
